Carlos Gutierrez brings over a decade of experience as a Krav Maga instructor. He began his martial arts journey at the age of 3 in Minnesota. Now based in New York City, at 38 years of age, he holds a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and a brown belt in Karate. Carlos also possesses a background in various combat sports, including Muay Thai, boxing, wrestling, and kickboxing.

Carlos teaches classes in both English and Spanish, catering to all levels and age groups, including online sessions. He excels at integrating submission grappling and striking techniques, all while aligning them with Krav Maga’s rigorous standards. Beyond martial arts and self-defense training, he places a strong emphasis on implementing strength and conditioning for injury prevention, mobility, and recovery, integrating them to meet his students' personal goals.

With over 20,000 teaching hours, Carlos has experience serving as a program director for children ages four to twelve, instructing teenage classes (13+), adult group classes, law enforcement, security personnel, weapon training, seminars, workshops, 'women’s only' classes, and providing one-on-one private lessons to everyone including individuals with varying physical capabilities and special needs.

Throughout his journey, Carlos worked and trained alongside world-renowned experts in Krav Maga from Europe, Israel, and North America. His passion lies in developing self-improvement and empowering students with essential self-defense skills, all while enhancing physical well-being and nurturing a positive mindset.
